Rayglass Launches High-Performance 'R Edition' Protector Range
Rayglass has just completed work on the first ‘R Edition’ Protector. This is a high-performance edition of standard Protector models, and will be the first boat in the country to feature brand new Mercury Racing 400R, V10 5.7L outboards.
R Edition Protectors feature the same tough, capable hull design that the brand is famous for, but with a high-performance edge, exclusive graphics and colourways, plus R badging, and luxurious diamond stitched upholstery as standard.
New Mercury Racing powerheads on R Edition Protectors are engineered to deliver instant throttle response, huge low-end torque and class leading high-end horsepower. A new and exclusive mid-section design features stiffened engine mounts attuned to stabilise the engine for smooth, responsive handling at high speeds.
The first vessel in this new range is a recently completed 330 Targa R Edition. This 10m power horse is set up for reaching top speeds of 60+ kts at wide open throttle, as well as excellent handling at speed and in any water.
To complement the vessel’s capability and performance, it’s loaded with technology, including Mercury electric steering and joystick piloting with integrated autopilot, bow thruster, and sky hook function.
