Rayglass has built a legendary brand in New Zealand over decades, but we’ve never had a strong presence in Australia. Matt Flanagan, Rayglass Sales Manager, says that’s all about to change:

“In response to a high level of enquiry from the Australian market, Rayglass has decided to expand across the ditch. Rayglass Legend has huge brand recognition in New Zealand, and with the introduction of the 3000, we believe it’s the perfect time.”

Sydney Boat Show 2024

August 1 to August 4 2024

Rayglass’ Australian debut will be at the 2024 Sydney Boat Show. We’ll be showcasing a next generation Rayglass 3000, powered by twin 300hp Mercury V8s, featuring a sleek modern design.

This is the ultimate multi-purpose vessel, just as suited to hardcore fishing as entertaining the family or extended overnight trips away. To make it truly multi-purpose, the 3000 features a long spec list tailored to the Australian boater - including fold out cockpit seats, joystick piloting, long-range fuel tank, removable bow sunlounger squab, hardtop sunroof, fully appointed galley, spacious separate toilet and 19ft game pole set up to name a few.

“There are plenty of quality fishing and cruising vessels in the Australian market. But we believe there’s a gap for something that does it all. In the 3000 you could be beach hopping with the family and friends one day, out deep chasing game fish the next, then towing it state to state thanks to Australia's favourable towing regulations.”

Enquiries welcome

Rayglass are welcoming enquiry from Australian boaters. At the boat show we’ll be offering private tours of the vessel and Matt Flanagan, Rayglass Sales Manager and Rayglass CEO, Dean Harris will be on hand to answer your questions.

Sea trials are also available in Australia, but due to high levels of enquiry and demand it’s best to book these in advance. Rayglass staff will be in Sydney after the boat show to facilitate these from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th July.

Dealers wanted

To facilitate our expansion into Australia, Rayglass is actively seeking dealers to partner with long term. Demand from dealers is already high so be quick to secure the opportunity to represent one of Australasia's most respected marine brands:

“If you think the Rayglass product would fit well into your portfolio, reach out and we’d love to discuss options,” said Matt.

“We’re investing heavily into research and development of future models and we are just about to open our brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Rayglass is growing fast and seeking growth-minded business partners to help us expand.”

“We're just so excited about growth across the Tasman. We’ve got an amazing product and strong enquiry level from Australia already. The team is looking forward to getting on the ground to meet Australian boaters face to face and show off our vessels.”
