See one of the most luxurious boats Rayglass has ever built

The Rayglass Legend 2800 is the pinnacle of the Legend range. It rides smoothly and safely, even in rough water and it’s incredibly capable, built for family boating, luxury cruising and comfortable overnighting.

A recent custom 2800 build took everything that we love about the vessel and turned it up to 100. The owners added everything to cart with this one, including upgraded interior, and a custom bow sun lounger. Ready to take the tour?

Introducing Add to Cart

The owners of Add to Cart are based in Auckland and needed a comfortable, luxurious cruiser to commute back and forth from Great Barrier Island. The return trip takes over four hours so they wanted the best of everything (and they got it!).

One of our favourite features is the custom sun lounger we added, which wraps around the bow and provides a comfy area to relax and tan. The custom bow rail makes it easier to access this part of the boat and move around.

Luxury on the water

The cabin and the deck is where things start to get really interesting on this vessel.

We fully refitted the cabin interior with super soft beige fabric, making it a cosy spot for nights spent on the boat. We also added a lock to the cabin so that the owners can store items in the vessel safely.

There’s premium upholstery and upgraded soft rider pedestal cabin seats, which look and feel incredibly luxurious - a bit like the seats in a European sports car. As if that wasn’t enough the boat also features a custom cockpit sunshade, roof racks for paddle boards, an integrated Weber Baby Q and a holding tank system for fresh water. You could just about live on this thing.

High tech boating

We love adding the latest technology to Rayglass vessels, so when our clients asked for the latest and greatest we were happy to oblige.

The Apollo Marine entertainment system is probably the best marine audio system on the market, with a touchscreen LCD, Wi-Fi audio streaming, Bluetooth connectivity and a beautiful one-piece glass display. We hooked this beauty up to several 7.7”Fusion Signature speakers throughout the cabin and it sounds great.

To help our owners track down fish and we also added a super clear 16” Simrad Screen and a Simrad Halo 24 Radar.
