The average boat wash in New Zealand is full of nasty chemicals that can harm marine life, the environment and you. Here at Rayglass environmentally friendly boating has always been a passion of ours so we set out to create a boat wash without the nasty stuff.

Our friends at Ecostore came up with a solution that we think you’re going to like.

Introducing Ecostore

Malcolm and Melanie Rands, a Kiwi husband and wife team, started Ecostore almost 30 years ago on the coast in Northland. They wanted to create a line of home, hygiene and cleaning products free from harsh chemicals; that were safer for Kiwis to use and better for the environment. And so they did.

Today you can find their soaps, shampoos, body washes, laundry powders, cleaning products and more in supermarkets and dairies all over New Zealand. All their products use recycled plastic and their factory was the first in Australasia to be certified as CarboNZero and Enviromark Diamond.

Ecostore Boat Wash & partnership with Rayglass

Ecostore have created a 100% natural, high performance boat wash from an environmentally friendly plant and mineral base. This stuff cuts through grime and salt fast, then quickly biodegrades in all marine environments without harming aquatic life. And because it doesn’t have any nasty chemicals in it, it’s safer for you as well.

At the end of the day, that means a cleaner boat and healthier oceans!

Both Rayglass and Ecostore are New Zealand made and share a passion for preserving the natural environment in our beautiful country. That shared passion is the reason why we’ve partnered with Ecostore to become their exclusive NZ boat brand partner.

Free boat wash with Rayglass Boats
