RAYGLASS LEGEND RANGE WINS TWO MORE AWARDS AT HUTCHWILCO BOAT SHOW

The team at Rayglass would like to thank everyone who came to the Hutchwilco Boat show last month. As usual, it was an absolute pleasure speaking to all the keen boaties out there, seeing a few familiar faces and showing off the Legend range.

Thanks to everyone’s support, we managed to win yet another Boat Show award for two of our most popular vessels.

Rayglass Legend 2800 and 2500 pick up awards

The Rayglass Legend 2800 picked up one of the big prizes of the evening: Best All Purpose Family Boat Open alongside the Legend 2500, which won an award for Best All Purpose Family Boat Up To 8 Metres.

This was the third year in a row that these two boats have won awards, and it was no less exciting than the first year. The win solidifies the position these two boats hold amongst the most awarded vessels in New Zealand, and proves that our commitment to quality hasn’t changed.

A combination between fishing, overnighting and cruising

We reckon there are two main reasons why these boats keep winning awards:

1. Versatility

Both the Legend 2500 and 2800 are perfect hybrid between fishing, overnighting and family cruising.

You can tow both model on the road and launch with two people. But despite being a trailer boat, there’s plenty of room on the 2500 and 2800, which are 7.7 and 8.7 metres long, respectively. That means it won’t be a tight fit if you want to spend a few days aboard your boat or take a big group out fishing.

2. Considered design

Both the Rayglass Legend 2500 and 2800 feature everything you need to comfortably spend a long period of time on a boat. That includes:

• Storage under the seats, under bunks, in the transom and even under the floor.
• Shower.
• Full galley.
• Double bed (with the option to add another bunk in the cabin).
• X2 large Underfloor storage bins.
• Live bait tank.
• 85L Fresh water tank with hot/cold water.
• A smooth ride thanks to their precision engineered hulls and wide turn down chines.
• Everything you need to get on the water in the highly spec’d standard package.
