Protector has built its reputation on crafting capable, comfortable, high performance vessels and the Protector 380 Chase RIB is the ultimate example of that expertise.

This is a true-blue water performance boat, ideal for use as a luxury island hopper, sports fisher or super yacht tender.

The pinnacle of blue water performance

The entire Protector range has a reputation for high performance in New Zealand and around the world. That’s why the vessels are favoured by users who won’t compromise on capability and reliability – like the NZ coastguard, NZ police and the America’s Cup.

As the flagship vessel in the Protector Chase range, the 380 is hard to beat on the open water. It features an advanced, unsinkable hull design with a deep V to ensure a smooth ride, even in challenging conditions.

Rayglass offers a range of high performance engine options with the boat, including two Supercharged Mercury 450 V8s, with a slightly frightening top speed of up to 70 knots.

This vessel is perfect for serious boaters who want to go farther, faster while still enjoying the comfort and luxury that they’re accustomed to.

The Rayglass Protector 380 Chase boasts unmatched performance on open water.

Room to move

Besides its performance, one of the defining features of the 380 Chase is its expansive deck space. It features a massive internal beam of 2.9 metres, a central cockpit with room for up to three screens and the option to include a cabin bar behind the captain’s seat. This makes the 380 Chase a great vessel for entertaining large groups or transporting them in comfort and style.

Luxury seating is completely customisable, with the option for three captain’s seats in the cockpit and a comfortable bench at stern. Choose between two motors and a walk-through swim platform, or three engines for when reliability and performance are the priority.

Whether you’re looking for a super yacht tender or just a high performance recreational vessel, the Protector 380 Chase should be on your list.

Don’t take our word for it though – drop in to our Mt Wellington showroom soon to see the boat up close for yourself.
