Rayglass Boats is looking for keen, fit people to join our growing boat lamination team based in Pakuranga.
In this role you will laminate high quality production power boats. A knowledge of fibreglass in general is desirable, even if you may not have laminated boats before.
We are willing to train the right applicant for this role. This could be an opportunity for a school leaver to get into the marine industry and develop a real skills bases career.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Waxing and preparing moulds
- Gelcoat application
- Laminating Hulls & Decks
- Sanding and grinding finished products
- Realising products from moulds
Other duties from time to time:
- Flocoating and speckling components
- Assembly of hulls and decks
- Assisting in other areas of fibreglass boat building
This is a full time position, Mon-Fri 7.30am to 4.00pm with an expected amount of seasonal overtime when required.

This is a full time position, Mon-Fri 7.30am to 4.00pm with an expected amount of seasonal overtime when required.
Click here to apply today!In this role you will fit-out boats ranging in size from 22 feet to 42 feet. You’ll be installing brand new equipment onto brand new boats. You will need to complete these to a high quality, flawless finish within our standardized production times.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Fitting of all exterior/interior hardware.
• Wiring of looms and switch panels.
• Fitting of upholstery.
• Installation of fuel, water and plumbing systems.
• Fitting of GRP and electronic components.
• Final detailing and quality control checklists.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Experience in marine fit-out is not necessarily required, but an eye for detail and competent with hand/power tools would serve you well. If this is you then we can teach you the rest.
