At Rayglass Boats we don’t just build quality powerboats. We have experienced teams operating over two premises and also provide extensive servicing, repairs and spare parts.
When your boat is created it first goes through fibreglass lamination, then the hull, decks and cabin take shape in our fit out bay. Experienced boat builders install wiring, plumbing, hard tops, electronics, stainless fittings, windscreens and upholstery followed by specialist engine technicians rigging outboard and stern drive engines before the finished product rolls into our show room.
Meet the teams who make all this possible.

“I recently purchased a new Rayglass 2200 and I am very pleased with the vessel and the company. Rayglass is professional in all their dealings and the operation is very impressive. The finished product is both faultless and high quality and most features come as standard from lots of rod holders to salt water wash down. I can fully recommend Rayglass for excellent quality and value for money.”

“We have owned a Rayglass 2800 for a year and we absolutely LOVE it. We have owned many different boats over at least 30 years. From small and larger runabouts to a jetski and a 36” launch for many years, but we are thrilled with our most recent boat and use it whenever we can. Many overnight and 2 to 3 night weekend trips have already been thoroughly enjoyed and we are looking forward to even longer trips over this summer. We often comment to ourselves how well our boat works, the spaces of galley, cockpit and sleeping arrangements just flow so well for us. Fridge, cooker, ice bin storage, it all seems like it was made for us.”

“Our experience of the sales team was incredible. Scott Little and his team did everything we could have expected and even more. From the boat show, right through the negotiations and specifications and getting a hands on look at OUR boat being built. It felt like we were the only “special” customers at Rayglass. Since our launching and takeover the servicing team have been similarly wonderful. As with all new boats, a few little things crop up, but an email to Dean and his team and the next day if not sooner, all is sorted. No problem. It is especially great to be next door at MWM because it makes the whole contact and servicing so easy, and it is easy for us to call in if we need to see someone at Rayglass.”

“Thanks to Scotty and the team at Rayglass for a truly awesome 2800, and also for putting up with our endless customisations. We now have the most “pimped out” 2800 on the water.”

“A year on I am still buzzing over my Rayglass Experience. I think I had almost more fun building my Legend 2500 than I’ve had driving it. I approached Scott Little and Dean Ryan last year to look at a 2500 and was given a tour of the facility and a test drive of the 3 litre TDI. I asked them if they could do one with the 370 hp V8. That’s when the fun started!! We can do whatever you want they said. It was infectious and the guys building it went far beyond what was required of them. When I finally got to drive it, it was fantastic. We’ve had it out in the Hauraki Gulf in 40 kts, Taupo in those often nasty conditions, and some great boating in Nelson’s Tasman Bay. How does the 370hp go? The speedo is almost off the dial in MPH, 50 KTS plus.
